Privacy Policy

Account data: Full name, email address, and mobile phone number provided at registration.

Birth data: Date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth — required to generate your Kundli, horoscope, and related astrological reports. This is sensitive personal data under Indian law and is handled accordingly.

Payment data: We do not store card numbers, CVVs, or net-banking credentials. Payment processing is handled entirely by Razorpay (razorpay.com), a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We receive only a transaction reference and status from Razorpay.

Communication data: WhatsApp messages sent via our WATI integration (wati.io) for order updates and notifications. Message logs may be retained by WATI per their own privacy policy.

Usage data: Pages visited, features used, session duration, device type, and IP address — collected automatically for analytics and security purposes.

We use collected data to: create and manage your account; generate personalised astrological content; process wallet top-ups and service purchases; send transactional notifications via WhatsApp and email; detect and prevent fraud; improve our AI models and service quality.

We do not use your birth data to train external AI models or share it with third-party advertisers.

Razorpay: Processes all payments on the Platform. Subject to Razorpay's Privacy Policy. Razorpay may collect and store your payment instrument details and transaction history independently.

WATI: Used to send WhatsApp business messages including OTPs, booking confirmations, and wallet alerts. Your phone number is shared with WATI solely for message delivery.

LLM providers: AI-generated content may be processed by third-party language model providers (including Groq, Google Gemini, and Anthropic). Prompts sent to these providers do not include your full name or phone number — only anonymised birth parameters.

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by writing to support@astrozent.com. We will action deletion within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Transaction records are retained for 7 years in compliance with Indian accounting regulations.

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest) to protect your personal information. Access to sensitive data is restricted to authorised personnel only. No system is completely secure; in the event of a breach we will notify affected users as required by law.

Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and applicable Indian data protection norms, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations); opt out of non-transactional communications at any time.

The Platform is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, please contact us immediately.

Under Section 7 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we have appointed a Grievance Officer to address any data-protection complaints, access requests, correction requests, or deletion requests relating to your personal data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 7 days before they take effect.
